I stopped waiting for the light at the end of the tunnel, I lit that bitch up myself

I'm tired of being complaisant. I'm tired of day dreaming of a life that I want but never doing anything about it. I am tired of the same old shit with little excitement or change.. and more than that I am tired of complaining about where I'm at and yet choosing to do nothing about it. Growing up I was told that "good things come to those who wait." But what if we switch our mindset to say "good things come to those who hustle".. Good things come to those who work their asses off, and promote change in their lives. They grab the bull by the horns and live every single day like it's their last. What if we chose to live our life with a different mantra, would you still be living your life as you are today?.. The answer to that question for me was no. I had a flip of my mindset earlier this year, and decided to stop waiting for the light at the end of the tunnel and to lit that bitch up myself. I am allowing myself the power to move forward. I am allowing myself to jump the line of life, and live a life I'm proud of now! I hope you take this journey of self discovery seriously and start living a life you are excited to be apart of. One that says you are way more than mediocre. I hope you are along for this crazy ride of change with me! Here is to the days that makes you fall a little more in love with yourself.
